Trademark law and trademark research for those interested in founding a company: The seminar is primarily aimed at those interested in founding a company and deals with important topics for founders, from protected brand names to their own company logo.

The following topics will be covered:

Introduction to the world of trademark law
Rights and obligations of trademark owners
Search strategies and techniques
Presentation of the strengths and weaknesses of the presented, freely usable trademark databases

Icon Meeting / Conference

The aim of the seminar is to show the path from finding a name or finalizing a logo design to registering a trademark. The event is organized by the Information Centre for Technology and Patents (ITP).

Participation is free of charge for students and employees of TU Dortmund University!
